LIMITED WARRANTY FOR “DR” WINDOW FILMS
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR DR25SRCDF AND DR35SRCDF
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY ON RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS is extended to the original owner as long as they own and live in the home where the Supplier DR product was installed and is not transferable.
10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS is extended to the original consumer and is not transferable.
Supplier Solar
Control Window Film DR products are warranted against crazing, peeling,
demetallizing, bubbling or delaminating when properly installed on suitable
interior surfaces of glass by a duly authorized dealer in accordance to
manufacturer’s instructions. If the film fails to comply under the recommended
use within the warranty period, the film will be replaced (labor and materials)
at no cost to the consumer.
The manufacturer also warrants against failure of the glass described herein due to (1) Seal Failure for a period of thirty-six (36) months if covered by the original sealed unit manufacturer. Consumer must provide proof of an existing in force manufacturer’s glass warranty (2) Thermal Shock Fracture for a period of sixty (60) months from the original completion date of the film installation to the glass. The replacement cost is limited per window of said glass caused solely as a direct result of the application of the Supplier Solar Control Window Film. There is a deductible of $25.00 (US) or 5% of the replacement cost, whichever is greater.
Any owner desiring warranty service on any product covered by this limited warranty should provide the information contained in the installation record or bill of sale furnished at the time of purchase, together with a description of the specific defect, proof that it is Supplier film and send it to the authorized dealer from which the film was originally purchased or to CPFilms Inc., Warranty Services, P0 Box 5068, Martinsville, VA 24115. Proof of purchase is also required in order to obtain warranty coverage. It is therefore recommended that the purchaser retain the completed installation record and sales receipt.
CPFilms Inc. HEREBY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL,
SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY DEFECT IN THE
PRODUCT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY EXCEPT DURING THE APPLICABLE LIMITED WARRANTY
PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE. CPFilms Inc. HEREBY EXCLUDES ANY AND ALL OTHER EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Manufacturer’ s/CPFilms’ sole obligation to the owner/purchaser, whether claim is based in contract, negligence, tort or otherwise, shall be solely as provided hereunder and damages and remedies shall be as provided hereunder.
Some States/Province do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from State/Province to State/Province.
This is void if the film is subject to abuse or improper care.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for scratching or damaging of the film by
improper treatment. This limited warranty or any part of it is void only where
expressly prohibited by law.
Supplier Solar Control Window
Film is not warranted in any way, except as expressly stated in this limited
warranty and operation of law.
