LIMITED WARRANTY FOR LLUMAR RK2OSIPS EXTERIOR
WINDOW FILM
LLUMAR® RK2OSIPS window film is warranted for a period of ten (10) years when
installed on vertical glazing or five (5) years when installed on sloped glazing
from the date of original purchase when properly installed in accordance with
manufacturer’s installation on suitable exterior glass surfaces with a
manufacturer approved silicone sealant by a duly authorized dealer. This
warranty covers cracking, crazing or demetallizing of the film.
The warranty coverage is limited to the owner of the property at the time of
installation.
The manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is limited to furnishing
replacement film for any of the film covered by this limited warranty which the
manufacturer determines to be defective, in no event shall the manufacturer be
liable for the installation costs of replacement film or for any special,
indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
CPFilms reserves the right
to inspect any film failures. In order to obtain replacement of the film, the
information contained in the installation record or bill of sale furnished at
the time of purchase, including evidence that the film is

description of the specific defect should be sent to the authorized dealer from
which the film was originally purchased or to

to obtain warranty coverage. It is therefore recommended that the purchaser
retain the completed installation record or sales receipt.
CPFilms HEREBY DISCLAIMS
LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING
FROM ANY DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. EXCEPT DURING THE
APPLICABLE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE,
CPFilms HEREBY EXCLUDES AND
DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Manufacturer’s / CPFilms’ sole
obligation to the owner / purchaser, whether claim be based in contract,
negligence, tort or otherwise, shall be solely as provided hereunder and damages
and remedies shall be as provided hereunder.
Some States/Provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so
the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from State/Province
to State/Province.
This limited warranty is void if the film is subject to abuse or improper care.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for scratching or damaging of the film by
improper treatment or cleaning.
The manufacturer also assumes no liability for glass breakage resulting from any
cause.
This limited warranty or any part of it is void only where expressly prohibited

Window Film is not warranted in any way, except as expressly stated in this
limited warranty and by operation of law.
The following terms and conditions apply:
1. The warranty coverage is limited to the owner of the property at the time of
installation.
2. CPFilms, as the window film
manufacturer will not be liable under any circumstances for any damages
occurring as a direct or indirect result of causes not specifically covered or
for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
3. The warranty shall be completely invalidated if any information or
representation set forth on the warranty form issued is not accurate.
4. This limited warranty shall NOT apply to applications in the following
installations: (a) when not in strict compliance with current rules and
regulations promulgated by the manufacturer; or (b) of more than one (1) film to
any window, or (c) on triple pane windows, wired or textured glass, any glass on
which there is affixed or otherwise applied any paint, lettering or
ornamentation, or (d) on glass which is visibly damaged, chipped, cracked or
pierced or where light can be seen between glass and frame, or (e) on non-glass
materials, such as polycarbonates or other plastics.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
DO NOT wash film for thirty (30) days after installation.
DO NOT use brushes, ammonia cleaners or any type of abrasive cleaners.
When cleaning use a soft cloth or clean synthetic sponge. Use a soft cloth or
soft squeegee for drying the window. Follow manufacturers directions for
commercial applications.
